Hebrew Feasts Of God:
Every Year Christian Covenant Church observes the Hebrew Holy Days as (Passover, Pentecost, and The Feast of Tabernacles. Our purpose is not to engage in the ceremonial act of keeping the Holy Days, but rather to remember what God has done through these feasts in the past and explore God’s plan to use them in the future. They have become a very large part of the fellowship we have throughout the year, and the times that we spend at them cause us grow closer as brothers in the Lord. The spiritual truths we continue to learn through each feast are fueling our hearts to press on to the end of this age.
Here everyone under the tent is listening to teaching at the 2005 Feast of Tabernacles.
The girls are getting tired and are ready for bed.

Missions:
Christian Covenant Church currently provides partial support to two missionary ministries. Linus Ihetuge is a Nigerian pastor and teacher who heads a ministry in his home country. Linus’ ministry is instrumental in building Christian schools and training centers in that volatile African country. Linus and his fellow ministers are on the front line of the battle between Christianity and Islam in a country where poverty and violence make people desperate for a powerful message of God’s redemption.
-Tim and Winnie Landrus are foreign missionaries who for the past several years have worked in the overwhelmingly atheist culture of Slovenia. Tim and Winnie were instrumental in establishing a Christian church in Lublijana, Slovenia, and have worked tirelessly to bring the Gospel to a people who have little use for religion of any kind.
Building Project: In 2001 Christian Covenant Church purchased 20 acres and is currently planning a facility for church functions and community outreach. Though the land was financed, it is the desire of CCC to pay the debt quickly and fund the facility as God makes us able.
Home School: Though not an official church function, several members of CCC have been crucial to the establishment and advancement of home education in Eastern Tennessee. Tennessee Home Education Association (http:/www.mideastthea.com), an organization dedicated to supporting and assisting home schooling families has asked several CCC members to serve as officers through the years.
Operation Rescue: In the late 1980’s many members of CCC were heavily involved in Operation Rescue (operationrescue.org), a national organization formed to stop the needless murder of unborn children by abortion. In 1991 Chattanooga’s only abortion clinic was miraculously closed, vacated and demolished through the divine intervention of God and the obedience of those committed to the work.
