Christian Covenant Church began in 1986 as a small fellowship of believers from the Athens/Cleveland area who shared a radical call to serve God in every area of their lives.  The group started out meeting for weekly bible studies, but soon began to feel that God was leading them to something deeper.  After much prayer and several confirmations by the Holy Spirit, the church was established in May of 1987. Christian Covenant Church is not affiliated with a denomination, but seeks to accomplish the particular work put before it by God, and at the same time to find its practical and spiritual place in the ministry of God’s universal historical church. 

Membership is by affirmation of our Church Covenant.  Visitors are always welcome.

This is Psalm SIxty Six in downtown Athens TN Where we are meeting until we are able to build a place on our property. We hope to begin construction in new building soon (like this year).
